well i just successfully wasted another four dollars on the newest issue of transworld. i should have learned my lesson about 12 issues ago but being a fan of comebacks i cant help but take chances. its not the corporate buy outs that hurt my feelings, its the non skate ads. or the ads of skateboarders not skating. (enjoi ads not included) ive been hungry for so long. this stuff is making me want to just give up all together. there is no soul in it. at what point should i start being more realistic about my future?
i am comfortable with the fact that i will most likely stay under the radar, but id at least like to have a say is where the future of skateboarding is headed. see you in hell.

still in chicago... mentally.
the gull linked this article which i thought was amazing. i had been trying to figure out how to word it, and they took care of it for me. its worth your weight to check out while waiting for the next gino installment.
the photo in the last post was taken from nish's window. its the light that sits in the vacant lot of the towers. it would be nice to know the real story of how those went down.
we got a new lens for the dream weaver. look out world, here we come... again. (expect the video to look something like that of the image on the view finder.) hopefully i will have somewhat of a trailer for you in the next 8 years. kidding... kidding, everyone is working hard. i saw it first hand in chicago last week. and just so you all can sleep easy, ken is doing good after bouncing his head off the bridge a few times. be careful on those things people. its not you that scares me, its everything around you.

when i was young my family and i were always on the road. we had a c.b. radio with us on every trip. i remember staying up all night pretending that the voices on the radio were coming from the trucks creeping along next to us. as a result i like to think of myself as a bit of a veteran when it comes to the road. i took these photos with my eyes half open at 3am somewhere in Pennsylvania.
